mommyB

love it
Got some brussel srouts that need using up tomorrow, did some on friday with lamb shanks, just looking for inspiration ....

Mix them with Fat free creme fraiche, crispy bacon and chives served with chicken breasts wrapped in bacon or Steak mmmmmm

I did the bubble and squeak bake yesterday with gammon and poached eggs it was lovely. Sprouts would be nice in it with whatever other veg you've got.

How about boiled then cooked with bacon bits, garlic and chopped onions as a side to some meat?

Bubble and squeak bake? that sounds lovely-just did a quick search for the recipe but came up blank, could you post it please or tell me where you got it from-sounds right up my street!!

bubble and squeek, just fry up what ever veg you have all together to a nice mushy consistancy and serve. A bit of brown sauce goes nice with it. Easy peasy!

It's not y own recipe and it is lovely. I even ate some cold and it was yummy I used onions dry fried instead of chives

Boil and roughly mash potatoes
Boil sprouts, beans, cabbage or any other veg.

Quark
Onion salt
Chives
pepper

Mix the potatoes and all the veg. Add in seasoning and 1/2 tub Quark. Beat the two eggs and stir well into mixture. Place in ovenproof dish and bake in a hot oven for 40 mins.
