HI Anne-Marie

I reckon either of these..although, you could ask not to have the potato or the lemongrass beurre blanc, which I assume is some sort of reduction.

Dont have the lime oil mash and maybe ask for the fennel/rocket salad to be without the dressing.

What day can you start having carbs? Is it day 3 or 4? I always forget..if Day 4 then forget the couscous, but if not then the last item maybe ok.

You may find that they have a bit of added oil, so again, I am sure everything is cooked to order so you could ask, no, should ask for them to cook to your specification...just ask. I do when I am faced with decisions like you have here.....chefs are more open to this now.

But, most of all, try and relax about it and I am sure you will make the right decision at the time. If, for some reason, you dont...dont beat yourself up! Just get back on refeed again...best thing is to keep away from the carbs until you are allowed Day3 or 4 and I think you should be ok.

Yeah its day 3 for carbs i rechecked again and again haha! i emailed them and asked if they would facilitate for food specifications so hopefully they do and if not my dad said i can just bring something with me. Im panicking coz everything is changing ill be ok thou. You picked all the tings i picked out so dats good least im picking the right things. R u allowed salmon on day 3???

Salmon, I think so......I have a terrible memory...remember what I need to and then forget it. I know I had salmon on my refeed week, cause like you I had a meal out and I had salmon and salad....it isnt the end of the world Anne-Marie to be honest....but it is Day 3 and not Day 1 and I reckon you should be ok......

I am sure others will tell me if I am wrong (well I hope they will as I would hate to give you info that is bad for you)!!!

Put it this way, salmon is a better choice than duck! All about choices I suppose and really refeed is all about building up our glycogen levels (carbs), so the fact it is salmon and protein, dont think it will be a big deal!!

Yeah exactly i might even try the sea bass or monkfish ive never had any of them so either way it will be different. I emailed the restaurant so hopefully they will get back to me. I feel a bit better now. Just dont like leaving my refeed food up to someone else. I want control haha!

I love sea-bass; not had monkfish but I think that is a fish that doesnt break up so easily (if you know what I mean)....good for kebabs, etc...

I think with whatever fish dish you will be fine and if you have emailed the restaurant that is brill...who isnt in control!! YOU ARE....you have done a lot to stay in control...HATS OF TO YOU..I am sure some might have just gone with it and though, oh, well, cant do anything about it...so, you are still in control :)

WEll done and ENJOY IT when it comes.....

I'm agreeing with Scots here!! Monkfish is very low in fat and calories and is better than salmon in that respect. I mailed LT about salmon and they said it is allowed from day one in "small quantities"
If you stick with the fish and try to avoid any of the oil/dressings you'll be fine.
Monkfish is my favourite. Its a very mild flavour but its pretty meaty for fish.......it doesn't flake like haddock etc.
Enjoy your re-feed, make sure you keep a food diary and you'll be fine.
Good luck xx

Yeah ive read your diary and seen you eat monkfish. i think if it turns out i can get dat plain i will try it. It has the best nutrients aswell. hopefully the restaurant will facilitate me and ill have a choice on the day. But ill definitely stick to the fish. Thanks and yes ill be posting a diary most definitely.

Personally i'd have nothing from that menu whilst on refeed but the salmon seems like the best option - just give the creamed pots a miss or ask for a jacket pot :)

Thanks i had a look at monkfish and sea bass in the shops today and they are both white so im allowed them on refeed so shudnt be a prob im waiting for response on how everything is cooked so fingers crossed.

Tell ya what fish is LUSH! ; John Dory (sp?) lol
