Food that makes me LOVE this 'diet'

cocktailprincess

Still rockin' it
Hi all

I am a real emotional eater, and have found that the more I think I am on a diet, the more sad I get.

These are the foods that make me sad:
Quark
scanbrans
mullerlights
virtually ANY low fat cake or dessert
(I know many people love them, but they make me want to cry)

So..............let me know all the food you love that is syn free or low, but you are allowed (and you feel naughty just by eating it)

My favourites are:
Spaghetti bolognese
Asda Lamb shanks with mash and peas:D
Syn free chips, mushy peas and gravy
Roast dinner
Mars ice creams (7 syns):D
French fancies (5 syns each)
Fried egg/sausage on toast with ketchup
Burgers on wholemeal bun
Latte with sugar free vanilla syrup (HEX A)
Rotisserie chicken

What are yours?

"fry up" breakfasts
meranues
hot chocolate with 2 jaffa cakes
cheesy meatballs
burgers in wholemeal bun
mushy pea curry
chicken with melted cheese and bacon
chicken stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon
jacket spud with bacon and cheese
jelly

Its gotta be the english brekkie or fish and chips mmmmmmm. I also love it when people see me eating them and say "oh you wont loose weight eating like that" Hah!!! Jokes on you pal cos i soooo will :p

Rotisserie chicken isn't free cos most supermarkets inject them with a sugar and water solution which is impossible to syn :-( Gutted.

Oh PS: syn free pizza with real pizza base, sausage butties on white bread with hp sauce, roast dinners, chips, burgers, full English breakfasts, chicken liver pate, cheese on toast, anything done in my slow cooker, and bananas bananas BANANAS!!!

Chicken Curry the SW Way!!
Cheese and beans on jacket potato
Quark with nuttella and strawberries
Hot chocolate with wippy cream!
Cooked breakfast!

But eating the rotissarie chickens certainly hasnt affected her weight loss, look how much she has lost... wow.... Im gutted about it too actually, cos I love them, ah well.
For me, its things like potatoes(SW chips, wedges, crispy skins), anything in my slow cooker, roasted veg, pasta, and bananas...
Diet.? What diet.?

Oooh I didn't realise mars ice creams were only 7 syns, is that for full size?!! OH can't eat them, he's diabetic so big no-no, wow something diet friendly that I'll actually get to myself! He's constantly eating my snack a jacks and WW yogurts!

Well, on this rather brilliant subject, mine are:-

Slice of pizza with pasta n sauce from the sachet (around 10 syns)
Time out
Any kind of crisps
New Sweet Chilli Snack a Jacks (unsure of syns at mo but think 5)
Oven chips with light mayo
Any kind of PASTA mmm with HEX rf cheese
1/2 portion chip shop chips (tho not actually had yet)
Red day: birds eye burger, HEX cheese, bacon, pineapple, onion, mushrooms, all in homemade wholemeal bread
Chicken dippers!!

Oooh I didn't realise mars ice creams were only 7 syns, is that for full size?!!
They are the ones you buy in a multibox from the freezer section of the supermarket (51ml each). The individual ones from a newsagent would be larger (71ml) and 10 syns- still pretty good!

Smaller ones are more than adequate and are £2 for 6 in Tesco at the mo'

It's not one particular food for me - it's just the fact that there's generally no limit to amounts. That's what makes me happy and able to stick to this! I don't do being hungry! :D

Aldi's lamb shanks in red wine and rosemary sauce - oh my word. These taste SO synful - I can't believe they're free on red/EE. They're my real indulgent treat and I feel like I can't possibly lose when I've eaten one for dinner. Usually have it with mash and veggies.

And spaghetti carbonara. I make it with quark mixed in with eggs, bacon and oodles of parmesan. It's really creamy and tastes like it couldn't possibly be diet-friendly.

Spag Bolognese
Sw chips with both hexa's cheese! Mmm
Mars icecreams
Time out
Homemade pizza mmm!!
A nice big roast dinner
Fry-light fried eggs, beans, sw chips, quorn sausages! Mmm!!

Oh I could go on forever... xx

All food!!! Lol..I am huge eater, so any food is a pleasure for me!! I love cooking the SW way as well!!!

Last night made the EE scotch broth from the magazine - wow!!!
Syn free chips, Morrisons pork sausages, Asda cheese curls...the list is endless!

I just love the fact that nothing is restricted on the SW diet - as long as you eat carefully and sensibly of all 'naughty' foods or cook/bake them the SW way.....

My fave SW foods are the curries, chips, wedges, roasts, quiches, cooked breakfasts etc.

Oooh yum, here are my lists

Sad food
Ryvita
Slimming soups
Nimble bread

Happy food :)
Lasagne
Cooked breakfast
Spaghetti and meatballs
Spaghetti bolognese
Curry, rice and slimming world chips
Sunday roast
Chilli and rice

Some of my favourites are :
(I do all Green days)
Jacket potato, Branston Beans and 2 poached eggs
Roast Veg, Quorn pieces cooked with herbs,
SW Oven Chips with mushy peas
Homemade Veg soup with packet of Ryvita minis to dip in the soup
Alpen light bar with cup of Twinings Andalusia Tea
Mushroom and Feta (HexA) Omlette

The list is endless really :)
I'm never hungry and always feel like i'm eating too much!!!

Its got to be the comfort foods for me, curries, spagbol, chilli, sausage and mash etc. They really don't feel like diet foods. Anything salady makes me want to reach for a length of rope lol

Sausage (Quorn Bramley) and Egg Sandwich on White Nimble with Ketchup. Yum!

I love that I'm still allowed the hot choc in the evening, a skinny latte, some chococlate when needed, syn free ice cream (frozen mullerlight) and any meal I fancy really so long as it's done the SW way. When people at work see me having my Alpen lights (2) they look a little confused (esp as before I'd have choc or crisps) and say 'but you're dieting, surely 2 is too many". Or when you take your leftovers in from the night before, my fave is goulash at the mo and they think that you should be eating rabbit food.

The only thing that gets to me a little at the mo is everyone else is heating up pasties and sausage rolls in the microwave(not the nicest way like) and the smell makes me crave one but I'm strong and can resist ;) as I know why I'm doing this and will carry on doing this :D (nearly :break_diet: today and picked one up for after WI but resisted the urge)
