I had my gorgeous baby boy 16 weeks ago and im now feeling really down about my weight. Id lost nearly all my pregnancy weight within weeks of the birth but now I seem to be gaining again and with 3 stone to lose I cant afford to gain.

Does anyone just do it on their own? I cant afford to join online and pay in advance but then I cant leave baby with anyone as im breastfeeding.

Ive never been since they introduced extra easy, is this as easy as it sounds?

Hi Lana and welcome. There are lots of people on here who go it alone. EE (extra easy) is straightforward. Nothing from your free lists on green or red needs to be weighed making it easier to cook or go out. You still need to weigh or measure your one healthy A and healthy B. The biggest thing to remember each time you eat is that a third of it should be superfree foods (Eg fruit and Veg) Check out some recipes and read the section from Squiddie on extra easy. Wishing you the best xx

Why not come along to group and bring your lovely baby with you? Lots of people take children of all ages with them, and the other members will all enjoy cooing over a teeny tiny!
It will get you out of the house and chatting to people at least once a week, and maybe even give you a whole new support network, not only as a slimmer, but a new mum too.

Good luck x

Perhaps you could go to one class just to get the books and to talk to the Consultant because I think you get more healthy extras when you are breast feeding. I agree it might be nice to get out once a week if you carried on going, but if you only go once it might be worth it.
Congratulations on your baby xx

I was breastfeeding and went back to class. I took my little one (she's now 2) and the two older kids with me and still do now. You do need extra Healthy Extras when breastfeeding so if you do go to class be sure to let your consultant know. Congratulations on your little one. x
