Anyone know how many syns?

I dont know why they would have the syns for chicken and beef chow mein on syns online but not for just vegetable, when that is probably the lowest syns on green?

Anyone help??

heh, hun it's probably the same syn value, as chicken and beef is free on red, if you take the meat away you get vegetable chow mein, and the syns are likely to be for the sauce...

i know but 'chow mein' is a mix of vegetables, noodles, soy sauce and in most cases chicken or beef. Therefore it would he higher in syns because it contains both meat and noodles so wouldnt be free on either.

However on a green day the vegetable version would be lower in syns as it contains no meat.

Ahhh for some reason I thought you meant vegetable chop suey and forgot chow mein is the one with noodles in.

I guess just approximate and minus 6 syns from the chicken chow mein on a green day value then. It would have to be approximate anyway because no two Chinese places are the same.

If it from a Chinese make sure you weigh it as the portions vary tremendously. One place i go has a 750gm portion. With SW they quote for about 400gms
