Quick yoga question

Mostly harmless
Normally I try and go out for a walk (35 mins) 5-6 days a week.

I hate exercise and i seem to be doing okay with this. However the weather is getting worse and I am loathe to miss too many days.

I'm not an aerobics person but I don't mind a bit of yoga and I find that it does bring me out in a bit of a sweat. Is it an okay replacement for the days I can't get out walking?

Anything is better than nothing, but I hated exercise before I got EA Sports Active for the Wii. I must admit I hate NOT doing anything now.

I have no Wii and no where convenient to plug one in even if I did!

Otherwise I'd be a total wii fanatic :).

But yeah, I asked my doctor if how fast I was walking mattered and he said no not really. So I took from that that my body (at this stage) is just grateful to be exercising at all :p

I love yoga, I used to go to classes with an instructor which was brilliant so now when I'm practising (and sometimes following dvds) alone I've got the experts advice inside me to help with postures etc.
Like Judi wrote anything is better than nothing.
You may find your body (and mind) reacts differently to things after practising yoga.
Love to read an update if you do get into it.
I love doing the "sun salutation" in the morning, it warms me up and gets me going and if I go through it lots of times I can really get an invigorating sweat on!
