Hi all,
I just want to write about my succesful encounter with CD in the hope that it will encourage anyone who is still thinking about joining the program or who is having a bit of struggle along the way.
I will be 35 years old in Dec and throughout my 20s and early 30s I maintained a constant and steady BMI at 17.7. My weight never fluctuated over the years and I was a really skinny person. Thanks to my genes I was one of the very few lucky persons in the world ( I think ) who can eat anything and everything and still remain slim. I was pretty happy with myself, and then something happened.
At 31 I went crazy over an English singer, the most beautiful man I have ever seen in my life. For 2 years after that I was completely insane and constantly wanting to divorce my husband of 9 years to follow this man. He has been dead for more than 2 decades by the way, I saw him in an old video. Anyway a lot of things happened and the result was that I lost my career, lost more than 200,000 USD in my business and was finally forced ( literally, by my husband and my family ) to enter a mental institution in Shanghai. I stayed there for 2 months.
I don't know what was injected into my system over those 2 months but after I was discharged from the hospital, my body went totally nut. I suffered from various health problems and the worst thing was, my weight began to rise very quickly and kept on rising. Over the next 2 years my BMI shot up to a peak of 28.1, despite my various efforts to exercise and diet. I even paid 3,000 USD to a beauty clinic but nothing worked. I was in complete despair then because I am a very beauty-concious person and I wanted to be thin and beautiful again, for that man.
That was when I chanced upon the Cambridge Diet. It was 8 months ago and the diet has given me back everything that I aspired.
I did SS for 5 months and lost all of my gained weight. And eventhough I did lose a bit of hair and experienced pretty serious side effects such as insomnia and cough, I am so happy to be at BMI 17.7, again.
I also wanted to give it 3 more months to see if my weight will bounce back IF I start eating everything under the sun again. Because I would have considered the diet a failure had I have to change my eating habits forever. I wouldn't have been able to take it. I am and always will be, a big eater.
Well I'm happy to say that not only has the diet given me back my beautiful body, it has also fixed it. Apparently it has helped to flush all the traces of the drugs out of my system because for the last 3 months, I have been eating big meals again and have not gained even 1 pound back.
I am still mad about that man, but now I can be confident that every time he looks down on me from heaven, he will once again see a skinny, beautiful woman.
I thank the people who created the Cambridge Diet for everything, and sincerely hope that many of you will be able to duplicate my success.
Thanks for reading my story.
