Hey peeps, i'm just wondering about sausages

I became a sausage fan when i went over to the dark side i.e WW...when i couldn't eat bacon as much but now i can but still want sausages!! lol

I keep hearing about Joe's sausages where can you get them from and are they free on red?
I've also heard about some morrisons ones that are free, is that right?

I usually have Morrisons eat smart Lincolnshire sausages, which are half a syn each on red.

Think all the Morrisons eat smart sausages are fairly low, and very nice in a casserole might I add!

Yes, Joe's sausages are free as are the Morrison's Eat Smart Pork Sausages.
Tesco Light Choices Cumberland Sausages are 1 syn each on a red day but not half as nice as the Morrison's ones!

Must agree that the Morrison's Eat Smart sausages are really nice, especially in a casserole. They don't break up and have a really good texture.

I've seen Joe's sausages mentioned in quite a few recipe threads. Can someone tell me where you can get them as I've never heard of them before.

You can buy Joes Sausages online at Home
They can be quite pricey tho, and charge you for delivery. My sis got me some last week and I didnt like them, but they also sell alot of other SW stuff which I havent yet tried.

now i think the morrisons ones are disgusting i just bought the low fat bowyers i think there half each one

the bowyers ones are nice especially the mediterranean flavoured ones but are hard to get!

If I remember rightly, the Sainsbury's BGTY Cumberland sausages won the best sausage thing in the magazine a few months ago. 0.5 syns each, and very very tasty!

Thanks Lindyxx, I shall have to look them up and see what other SW stuff they have.

As for the Sainsbury's BGTY sausages, I have tried them and I felt they were the nearest thing to a real sausage. They also came out on top in the SW magazine taste test. (in one of the last two issues - can't remember which one exactly - but that's what prompted me to buy them).

I bought some Bowyers yesterday and will try them later in week in a casserole.
