Tell me about setting a target

ok, how do SW let you set your target?

I'm now in a Healthy BMI is does this mean I can set it?

and if I choose to lower my target? is their a minimum target I can set i.e. my target is 10 stone - would the minimum new target be 7lbs lower? do I have to start paying again if I re-set my target?

and how far above and below your target can you go before you have to start paying again?

All I would say is set a target that works for you - something that will be maintanable and also be in your 'happy place'.

I would assume that if you hit target and want to lower it, you just pay and carry on. I've changed my target twice and the consultant was supportive. I haven't met them yet though so it didn't matter for me changing it :)

I also think that if you hit a weight and you're happy you can say you're at target as long as you've lost the minimum weight for SW of 7lbs.

Once you hit target you can be 3lbs either side without paying otherwise you pay the fee if you go over or below this.

There is a minimum weight for height which is in your book but for me, at 5ft 4 it's about 8 stone (i think) which is a huge no no!!

If you reset your target it does have to be by at least 7lbs. I originally set mine for 10st7 but when I got there I knew it wasn't right and as soon I saw it on the scales I told my consultant to change it to 10stone.
For me it's fine. I'd love to be another 7lbs lighter but I doubt I'll do it. I've been this weight for over a year now and it's okay, I'm happy.

You will know hun. Don't set it so low that it's hard to maintain. If you do change it though, be that after a week or a year, you will have to pay until you reach your new target.
Hope this helps!
