I have emailed LT 5times now and still no response!!!!!!!

Any of you guys know when cous cous is ok to have? I gots me some wholemeal stuff - if not on refeed ill wait till after.

Also, im planning on making a chilli on monday! But wondering if kidney beans are ok to have on refeed?

Im guna go email them again, twice. To both addresses. The bloody idiots!

Hmmm...well the couscous is basically pasta, which is allowed after day 4. Kidney beans are basically beans- so I imagine they'd be fine? They're quite high protein, so maybe cut back on the meat in the chili if you're adding them? I make my chili meat-free by using kidney beans & chickpeas with lots of veg like carrots, mushrooms, onion, courgette, etc.- it's lower-fat that way but still full of protein?

Chickpeas ..... hmmm never thought to add them irish! How do you go about making yours then? Do you cook all your veg first or just bung it all in the pan with the sauce and let it cook in that? xxx

Reply from LT:

'Beans from day 3 and as cous cous is pasta please leave untill day 7.'

I just responded 'but we are allowed pasta and rice from day 4 so why are you telling me day 7?'

Edit: And here is there 2nd response:

The carbohydrate in rice is less rapidly absorbed than pasta. So is ok in day 4. As I stated, pasta seems to give some people problems if taken too early and my advice would be to wait a few extra days. Especially couscous which is a highly digestible pasta.

my god Tan,it all seems pretty confusing when they tell you different to what they tell you on the refeed sheet.
don't they know their own diet??lol x

Ahhh...bo**ocks to them.
Anyway, to answer your earlier question- I bung it all in a pot with a tin of chopped tomatoes and let it simmer away intil the veg is soft0ish (but still has a bit of 'bite' to it?)

ah lovely - thanks irish :) xxx
