TOTM / PCOS

Going for Goal!
Hi Girls!

Well like a few of you, I am also a PCOS sufferer.

Some background:

When at my biggest my totm was non existent and when it did arrive, it'd stay with me for anything up to 2 months  Yep, agony.

Well, when my 3rd stone came off (thanks to cd) I got excited by small monthly shows (admittedly, not a full week, BUT a show each month roughly :) )

The past couple of months I have had food binges as you know.

The last time I had a binge a few days later BANG - totm. I had another binge last week, been back on ss (this is my 2nd day) and BANG - totm.

I have a feeling this is maybe relating to my binges. They have never happened before until now. It just seems odd to me that I come on after a binge.

I am over the moon that I am starting to have totm's now, but also concerned that I am caving in food wise and jepordising the diet :sigh:

Does anyone else have this? Feel like this? How do you overcome it?

Any help/advise would be much appreciated.

Hugs x x x

hope you work it out honey xx

Ive noticed with this diet and having the contraceptive injection, when im on SS I bleed and have slight shows and when im not on it I dont bleed at all, its really wierd the land of SS.

I know that wasnt helpful but thought id share as its TOTM and SS

Hi

I have PCOS and as I am sure you were, was told by my GP that weight loss would help as I have not had TOTM since March this year.

I am in my 4th week of SS and have lost 12.5 pounds but still no sign of TOTM. I have an appointment with my GP in December to discuss as she wanted me to lose some weight.

If TOTM dont return, I will consider Metformin but will this increase my weight gain? I don't want to lose weight and then find due to medication or health reasons regain it??

Any ideas??

hi when i was on metformin i was told it helps your matabolism and so you loose weight xx
it worked for me.

emma, whilst on ss i was getting my totm everyother week i did get the munchies before hand but managed not to cave. now im giving in to craving and eating, but am on depo now. sorry if it doesnt help much, but try not to give in to cravings, your doing really well, you may not regulate your totm until you start maintainance, so stick with it, im sure once they regulate you will be pregnant in no time, best of luck xx
