♥3 Years Maintaining♥
Me an the bf are off to paris in April .... got hotel and flights sorted.

Obviously we are going to the Eiffel tower, lovre, champs eelysess (sp?) and going on the sienne river cruise and to the Stade de france (bfs idea! lol)

Anyone got any other suggestions; things to do and see??????

Anyone know if its guna be worth buying a day pass for the metro? Heard its around 6euro for zones 1&2 which is where all the main attractions are.

Metro day pass is well worth it if you're making more than about three or four journeys (e.g. Hotel -> Attraction A -> Attraction B -> Location C -> Hotel).

The Louvre can take an entire day even if you aren't an art-o-holic. If you are, though, I highly reccommend also doing the Centre Georges Pompidou, which is full of modern art (well, from the 1900's onwards). There's also the Musée d'Orsay, but I'm not too keen on Impressionists (although the building itself is gorgeous).

Le Sacre Coeur is gorgeous. Well worth a visit. The area around it is fabulous for teeny little unique shops too.

The gardens of Versaille are beautiful, and contain a large number of statues, ponds and fountains. It's a lovely walk.

Notre Dame cathedral is a must, but be prepared for stairs. Lots... and lots... of stairs :D

L'Arc de Triomphe is also a must-see, but you'll catch it when you go to Champs-Elysées.

If architecture's your thing, stop by La Défense. There are some interesting buildings there, but it's not worth visiting unless you like that kind of thing, as otherwise it's just offices.

By the Eiffel Tower there's also a fantastic aquarium... And, of course, Disneyland Paris is only about 20 minutes away by train :D

Have a great time!

Shopping Galeries Lafayette on the Boulevard Haussmann. Printemps next door to it.
Eating, Chartier 7 rue du Faubourg Montmartre. Best and cheapest restaurant, authentic brasserie atmosphere.
Go to Disneyland Paris. It's brilliant.
