..........any advice or tips is it really any good???

OH is getting me one for Crimbo with biggest loser games it looks ace, let me know how you go with it as I have no idea either.

My piece of advice to you about the Wii fitness board... close the curtains, go for it! and laugh like a drain!!

I love it!!

Lx

I found the step work out really addictive and the children love the skiing games.
Oh and the hula hoop is good too although closing the curtains is a must LOL!

I've just bought EA Sports active and it's fab! Much harder work than Wii Fit and not as much fun (as it is, in essence, a workout DVD) but I'm aching all over after doing 45 minutes on Monday and have just done another 20 and I feel goooood :D

wow thanks peeps I am so excited now I should be here today or tomorrow so bring on the fun

Just remember to dust it once or twice a week.....I loved it when I first got it...then like everything the novelty wore off and it sits in the corner of my living room now and gets dusted like any other bit of furniture....I can't use it if my son isn't around as would not know even how to switch it on lol! You have made me think now...I must try harder....maybe I will give it another go!

We are a computer family Wii, PS3, Xbox 360 we got the lot so I am ok using it and like everything I has to become a habbit I just hope it becomes one for me lol

i think we have become spoilt too, I remember being a kids and getting excited when I got a ZX Spectrum, took ages to load up, now we have Wii, PS3, PS2 and XBOX360, well the wii is shared and the PS3 is OHs and mine the rest are the kids, I want that game with the mat where you can ride down the mine shaft and jump over comets and stuff looks really fun.

Youll absolutely love it, great fun. What i find doing the hula hooping especially on advanced whilst fun at the time the next day i ache like hell. Not a bad thing once you get used to it, proves youve had a good work out too. Get the family involved too. My OH and DD love it too. Can get quite competitive! Just have fun with it and see where it takes ya :)

I was just saying the same to my OH about the ZX spectrum lol the kids thought i was making it up we have 3 xbox 360's as they kept arguing over it but the kids saved up and bought their own.

Aah the Wii fit is brilliant, loads of fun !! We had many nights with all the family around playing bowling, tennis, golf etc. With the Wii fit you have to do excerises to unlock games..but they so easy to unlock. When you set up your Mii profile, you put your age, weight etc. I made myself thin....and when the board weighed me it made my Mii much more rounder haha !! My 4yr old boy sets up the Wii for me LOL, we both love the boxing and my little 9month old boy gets so excited seeing us playing on the Wii....have fun x.x.x

been on it everyday so far and bought wii fit plus the next day I am addicted lol

i pre-ordered wii fit plus but with postal strikes i waiting for it to arrive cant wait, i was doing EA active until i got flu after hols so no energy at mo, but once i back on form i will be in the zone again.

OMG I have just finished an hour on the wii fit and burnt off 300 cals I went for a jog, a bike ride, rythm kung fu, boxing, weight training and a spot of yoga i love it. If you haven't got one ask santa for one ther are such good fun

I don't remember seeing bike riding? Maybe i haven't unlocked it yet...? I loved it and did it every night for about 2 weeks, then i got bored and it got dusted.....Must try to get in it again, but time is so valuable, it p'd me off that it woud take 45mins to do 30mins exercise by the time you've fiddled around flipping past the intros/ loading it. Is EA sports active quicker?

the cycling is on wii fit plus I haven't got the EA sports one yet
wii fit plus is only £15 in tesco

I would love to get one too, but not been able to afford it yet. Does anyone know if there's a good offer on somewhere online, with the Wii fit and board?

Sorry Emma, meant to say including the console, haven't got one yet.. I nearly jumped straight to Amazon, thought blimey THAT's a bargain, lol!
