Activities/Points

Excuse my initial questions as a newbie to WW but I see that I can add extra points if I exercise or do various activities. Even cleaning seems to count according to the website. 1/2 hour of low intensity cleaning is 1 point! I am assuming there must be a limit to how many points you can earn a day doing something physical? Is this something you all try to achieve - going out walking or exercise classes or cleaning?

Also (sorry for the questions) how many points can I carry forward each day if I so wish? I am on 19 points a day and yesterday only had 17.5.

Thanks! :):)

Hi

You can only carry forward 4 points every day but seeing as you are on 19 I wouldn't recommend saving any tbh. As long as you make sure that you have 14 a day which is the minimum.

As for activity points I don't think there is a maximum to how many you can earn but I do remember reading somewhere that you can only eat a maximum of 12 of your earned points. I go to aerobics once a week and that gets me 8.5points but I save these. Not for anything in particular but it is nice to know they are there.

Some people do a lot of exercise and some people don't, it really depends on whether you want to do it or not. I do it because it makes me feel better once I've done it but up until a few weeks ago when the classes started my main exercise was simply walking. It really is up to you hun

good luck

xx

hiya Janey,

my bf made an activity points calculator if you want it - its available here:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

you put in how much you weigh, how many minutes exercise you did and what intensity you would class it as and it'll tell you how many points you earned :)

i try and earn activity points every week as i think now i've lost some weight I need the exercise to push me onwards.. and as much as its a chore, i feel great afterwards :) x
