A lovely shopping moment

Went to Meadowhall yesterday to look for some stuff for an dhabi at the weekend. Didn't go into Evans once although it was odd just walking on by.
Went to m&s to get some new undies and saw some lovely boots. I tried them on and they fitted perfectly. I used to never get anything other than Evans boots round my large calves!
I also saw a lovely red duffle coat so picked up a size 14 thnking that I might get it on but it wouldn't do up. It did up easily and had plenty of room. Before LL I had trouble getting a 22 on in m&s. Didn't buy it though. Might save it for another trip.

So from this trip. I am definately a size 14. So maybe I should get rid of the size 16/18 jeans I am still wearing with a very tight belt!!!!!

Hurrah - I bet it feels great ...and I know exactly what you mean about wearing too big clothes with a belt...I'm still there with work clothes. I need to go shopping too - am putting off a litle bit longer so that I can unveil the new slimmer me in style!

Brilliant - Great feeling inside when you realise that you really, really are several sizes down. Enjoy!

I had the same feelings about Evans - I even wandered in there the other day to browse LOL. I love the freedom of choice of shops now.

Donna ... it's so surprising and thrilling isn't it? And when you start to buy smaller clothes you really see the difference in your body more, I now love catching glimpses of myself in shop windows - it still surprises me - I can't wait to lose more!
