Having a lazy day at home here catchin up on FaceBook and knitting. Bliss.

It's day 1 of my restart today and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I have already lost 4.5lbs since last week by cutting down :D

I'm hoping for my slimmest ever Christmas this year!!!

I'm feeling poorly today so didn't go into uni for my lecture but I will be catching up on the work at home. The good thing about feeling ill is that I don't want to eat so here's to a successful day 1!

Is there anyone else starting today? xxx

Its day 2 of my restart today after being away for a year to have a baby and I'm finding it all ok so far :) Not up to much really, have been doing physio with my youngest daughter (she has Cerebral Palsy) and trying to do some potty training with my eldest xx

Day 12 on CD (first ever) and it was going fantastically until my stomach started to rumble about 9.00am. Had my first shake at 7.30am as soon as i got to work. Got another hour or so till my lunch. Thankfully i have downed another bottle of water and had a green tea ad the rumbling has stopped for now.

Apart from that im still 100% and intend to stay that way.

I have gone from 12st 12lbs to 12st exactly.... Not bad at all eh?!

Anyway im at work and should get on with my work really, be back later ladies!

I'm on my first day today. Have never done CD before so am hoping this is the answer!
Typically, I've had to take the day off work as my 10 month old has a tummy bug and my 3 years old has chicken pox so im bored at home with lots of food around!
Still, feeling positive especially when looking at some of the huge successes here on this board!
Happy Tuesday everyone!

Hi everyone,

Im on day three of CD - newbie. I am really enjoyed it, feel very positive after reading everyone's success stories. The shakes dont taste that bad, I have had worse haha.

Im not to keen on the soups, I came accross a forum whereby this person suggested different ways of making up the shakes, by making crisps, moose, sauce etc...can you do this because of the 250ml water allowance??

Hope everyone is having a good day x.x.x

Good luck to all the new starters and restarters you will do ace.

Well im having a few days off (shock) I feel totally crap, kids have been poorly with this flu bug and im sat here burning up and feel poo, I joined the gym this morning but not having my programme till Saturday morning. My throat is killing me so bought some throat sweets and some fizzy water and a chicken, the whole feed a cold thing works for me, not going to be bad or eat crap just dont feel too good.

Good luck for all the weight ins today everyone xx

Hello all

Best wishes to all new starters and re-starters, and thanks witchy for starting off the daily thread. I took myself off to be before midnight last night (unusual for me) as feeling tired and not satisfied by the food packs. I think that the rest has done me good. At work now (lunch break)- I am working in the offices of another organisation so have admitted that I am on Cambridge - everybody impressed by my weightloss and wanting to know how it works.
Yesterday was a tough kind of day with feelings of hunger - somehow today doesn't seem as challenging.

I am pleased that I have changed my plans for tommorow night, I was planning to go to a quiz night but really couldn't bear the idea of being surrounded by people tucking into nice snacks and alcohol - now I am going to the cinema with a couple of friends (one has done Lighterlife very successfully this year and the other is always incredibly supportive). I think I am the kind of person that needs to remove obvious obstacles and temptations on a diet like this.

Catch up later, lets all have a successful day x

Hi Lynne!

Yes I am loving it here! Feels like I have always lived here which is weird!!! Uni is fantastic and although I haven't sampled any of the nightlife, I have made some good friends.

I'm finding things fine although I need to find a CDC soon as I have 6 weeks of tetras but after that I will need to get some more!

Hiya!
Glad to hear that you are enjoying Swansea and you've settled in well! There is quite a lively nightlife in Swansea... although I'm way toooo old for all that now!

I attend a CD class in a school which is just through Singleton Park - quicker to walk than to take the car!! The class is on a Thursday - 5.30 and it's run by some lovely Counsellors. Give me a shout nearer the time, and I'll give you more information.

Lovely to hear from you - I've been wondering where you've been, but i know start of term is v. hectic.

Take care sweetie,
Lynne
