How is your body changing?

Good morning guys and girls, I was thinking last night.. Ive been on xenical 4 weeks on weds, Heres the lowdown
So far i have lost 12.2lbs when i started i was a size 20, Im still a size 20 albeit the trousers i have 2 pairs hang losely and baggy on the bum, another pair of 20's from Dorothy Perkins are the bain of my life i can get them on and up fasten the button but my big flabby belly hangs over the topand i wouldn't want to go out in public with them on! So whats happening , Ive been following a low fat diet eliminated Alcohol, Chocolate Most breads, Junk food etc, I have a very eratic shift job in the mental health services so i dont have a lot of time for excersize.
I have been using dumbells to tone my arms , walk, take the stairs , use the wii fit. my face has slimmed but my belly, is just not going in its gone down but damn its so deflating to be putting in this dedication and still feel like its not enough, Has anybody got advice or similar feelings, I just feel like not eating i feel a failure , Id love to buy a pair of 18 jeans or a 16 top...:cry:I would weighmyself on the wii today but its nearly time of the month so would'nt think its a wise idea :(
Im 5'7, 15st"11lb
Bra size 40ff
Trouser size 20
t-shirt 18

I've only been on xenical for a week but was on slimming world before that. In total i have lost 1 stone 3lbs. I am still a size 20 but before i started to lose weight i had to buy a couple of things in a 22 but most of my 20's were really tight. Now my 20's are a comfortable fit on me. I tend to lose the weight first from my sides and my waist, but it takes ages to come off my chunky arms and thighs xx

This is the start of my third week on the xenical. I've lost 6 pounds in total and 3 pounds of that were when I started the xenical. I probably would have lost more only in the first week my body was still getting used to it and I was really constipated.

This week was much better.

I do the wii fit for an hour nearly every day now, the only thing I would say is dont be discouraged if the body test says you are going up in weight. The board is not that accurate, it told me last week that I had gained 3.5 kilos since the day before which is something like 6 pounds :p the next day it said something completley different so try not to worry about it.

I'm 1 pound off the half stone mark and I'm so excited :D

Ok here goes, I have been on xenical for about 3 months and up until my last weigh in 4 weeks ago I had lost 20lbs, I haven't a clue what I weigh now as I have no scales but I'm now fitting into size 12 jeans whereas I was a 16. I have stopped snoring and my tummy seems a lot smaller as does my thighs and bum.
I think we are all different but if you have a lot of weight to lose it can take a couple of stone for you to notice the difference or to go down a size, but others will notice the difference before you especially those you don't see on a daily basis. Don't get disheartened Citygirl, you've done great so far, 12.5lbs is fab in 4 weeks, keep goping and you will soon see big changes.

Hi,

I've been on Xenical for about 3 months, I am due for my third weigh in tomorrow. Up until my last weigh in I had lost 20 pounds. I lost 10 pounds each month and was thrilled. My clothes are definitely much baggier and my boobs are much smaller. People have started to notice that I have lost weight and that has been really great. BUT these last few weeks I have really struggled to stick to the low fat and keep up with the exercise (lane swimming twice a week and 30 minutes on the treadmill the other days) so I am really dreading my weigh in tomorrow. I think I may have lost something but I know I'm going to be disappointed if it is only a small amount.
This is when it gets dangerous for me because my motivation goes and I start to slip back into bad habits!!

I have decided that whatever I have lost (or not) I am going to treat myself to some new clothes in a smaller size and hopefully that will spur me on!!

Good Luck,
Shorty

hiiii, i have been on xenical for 10 wks and have lost 12lb in total, been to get weighed today and have lost 2lb in 4 weeks,(at least its coming off!) i was a bit disopointed at first as i havent done anything different than before, but i came home and measured myself and have lost 2inch of my waist and the same off my hips! The shape of my body is defo changing! When i hold the tape measure where it was when i started there is a huge difference! That means more to me than the number on the scales!
Keep goin ladies!! xxx

I've been doing Xenical for almost 9 weeks now i think lol. Aprt from my jeans been loose ect and the fact that everytime i see my family they all tell me how much weight ive lost, which the other day i couldnt help but get a smug look on my face =]

i was on xenical for about 3 yrs on and off in the past, and they did work for me i lost 3 and a half stone! however...
since then ive clapped all the weight back on,and recently joined the cambridge diet and find it much better, its made me appreciate food much more and wise up,where as xenical didnt,i ate pretty much the same crap cause i was taking it for granted that the blue pill would do the job ,and all its doing is not letting you absorb 70% saturated fat from your food! personally they made me feel ill,and when i did come off of them before i put all weight back on as soon as i ate something (for a long time after)i couldnt eat a meal without having to go to the toilet straight away no matter what i ate! but at same time appreciate everyone is different,so well done to all of you that have lost weight on them :) x

hey bex! its 30% it takes outta your food!

Xenical is a fantastic drug that is working wonders for loads of people on here and were on the road to changing our life styles! I hope u dont think i am being rude but if you just ate what you liked then u dint change your habits that why you put all the weight back on.

When i ate normally when i first started zenical hardly lost a sausage so well done for loosing an eating the same!!

Different plans suit different people and i hope cambridge diet helps you battle your food demons like us lot r tryin to battle ours!

love katie

hey katie!..

yes 30% realised after id posted id got it the wrong way round lol...dont think you are being rude at all, everyone is entitled to their opinion, that was just mine!
xenical was a big help to me and did shift the weight, and i did rave about it to ppl for a long time, but personally for myself i found there to be more negatives than positives in the "long run",eg i found it to be more a quick fix to a long term problem, plus it has been found that this drug can increase the chances of breastcancer, which runs highly in my family..and not to mention anal leakage, gas problems, and bowel pains it gave me,and it was a miracle i lost that much when i didnt change my eating habits that much, but as we all know you have to be in the right frame of mind and have enough willpower and i guess at the time i didnt... where as i think the cambridge diet is helping me address my real issues with food! but as you say,and i believe too different plans suit different people, this is just my personal experience and hope i havent offended anyone! :)good luck to everyone! :)

well ive been on xenical since february , i started as a size 30/32/34 now im in 16's with some things being a 18 .. ohh and i have a pair of 14 trousers that fit (i hate how theres no standard size fittings every shop is diff).. i have lost over 9 stone...

you need to give it a bit more before you seee visable loss on your body , because at first you loose excess water weight and the rest is body fat... when you lose a stone you lose a layer from all over your body , you have more fat on your tummy then face because thats how we are made , so this is why we notice it more on our face.. your tummy will get smaller and smaller.. just have to give it time. xx
