Hi all

I'm starting re-feed on Friday and was just wondering when I can introduce salmon and mackerel?

I did re-feed for wedding a few weeks ago and was having both from day 4 but I'm not sure this was right.

Oh and are tuna steaks ok?? I know you can have tinned but is fresh ok?

Thank you x

Yep tuna steaks are fine, just dont cook them in oil or anything.

I was having salmon from day 3 or maybe 4. Stick to day 4 onwards to be safe :)

Mmmmm i love salmon! :)

Are you looking forward to refeed?
I will be with you a few days after and i cant wait! xxx

I'll leave it to day 4 then. I love salmon too, baked with lemon juice and black pepper....weird cos I never did before!!

The mackerel I was having was the pre-cooked stuff from the supermarket. It's flavoured with lemon and parsley (but there's no additional oil in it) - its glamour!!!

I CANNOT BLOODY WAIT!!! I think because I'm so close I'm kinda chomping at the bit. When do you start re-feed?? x

Oooh snap - lemon & pepper on salmon is lush!!!

I start refeed on the 26th! Really looking forward to it!
What is your first meal going to be?
Mine last time around was baked chicken breast (in foil) with pepper and lemon juice and cooked veg. The chicken with lemon is gorrrrrrrgeous!!!! :)

you guys should try combinations of lemon and lime the two flavors really do compliment each other well.

salmon is partial to lemon chicken is great with either or both. Tilapia is especially good for "flavoring" as it "absords" great amounts of pretty much anything. Some fish do not absorb so you only get whats on the surface. (like orange roughy GREAT fish but won't absorb lemon or lime.)

Thanks for the advice Nerys - I'll give it a whirl!

So Tanya, I start on Friday and you're on the Monday!! I am soooo looking forward to it.

My first meal will be chicken with lime and corriander seasoning on it. I emailed LT last time I did re-feed and the powdered spices are all okay to use. I went to the indian supermarket at the weekend and got Lime & corriander and Chilli & Lemon seasonings. I'm having it with beansprouts, mushrooms, courgettes & onion strifried with some garlic, ginger and soysauce. I am soooooooo drooling righ now!!

Whats your first meal going to be or are you sticking with what you had last time??

Im not sure we are allowed sauces chick for the first few days ... you should double check that. If you are to have then you should dry stir fry it and add some lemon or lime juice as a substitute to soy sauce.

My first meal will be the same as last time baked chicken and cooked veg :)

Ooops!! Never thought about that. I've just emailed LT. I'll let you know what they come back with.

If its a no then I will dry fry it all.

x

Im pretty certain we arent so in that case go for lemon or lime juice :) x

Hi guys are you sure you're allowed lemon and lime juice on the first day even if we are not allowed fruit? prob a silly question but i always wondered.

Yup defo :)

Hiya

Just checked my mails and Lipotrim have confirmed its okay to have Soy Sauce from day one of re-feed. Bring on the stir fry!!!! Although, tbh, I'll not use a lot. Even though they say its okay I'll just be careful with it.

x

Ahhh cool - i would never have thought it would have been allowed! :) Yeah do go careful with it - you might find you probably wont need a lot as your tastebuds have changed and will taste every little thing! :) We have some low salt soy sauce in the cupboard, i may use it on my chicken instead of lemon ... hmm decisions decisions! hahaa
