***FAT-FREE FRIDAY daily thread***

Blingbabe

Back On Track!
Good-day to each and everyone

Welcome to fat-free Friday, perhaps even fabulous Friday!
Working today from main office in central London, a colleague R who is also a close friend will be in the office hot-desking next to me so I am anticipating a little giggle - as well as lots of hard work, of course!
Will be staying in on Friday evening; no social plans until Sunday - which is fine, as I do get tired and distracted by the temptations in bars and restaurants.
Best wishes to all:)

I have my weigh in at 7pm - i'm not holding out much hope. Other than that I'll be deeply engrossed in work today. Lots to be catching up with. Hugs x x x

Morning all!
Trying to wake up at the moment, downing coffees to help me feel human. Have come to conclusion i should get up at 5am. Normally go to bed around midnight, DD wakes me at 5am and gets into bed with us, where we normally snooze until 7ish. Thing is, i'm normally quite alert and feel good at 5, but feel like crap by 7 when she drags the covers off us!
Not up to much, at work tonight at 745pm so a chilled day generally, with an afternoon snooze. Luxury...
Glugging, being good and freezing today, my scales best be moving for me this week- want to get into the 10st bracket for the first time ever! Quite an exciting prospect. Take care all xx

Hi all and Blingbabe,

I hope that you have a good day that is not too hectic. I know mine is going to be. I'm not working but my mum has already been on the phone planning a very boring day sorting bits and bobs. Yawn.....

Oh well. I am in day 3 of my start and I think I'm over the hard part.

Anyway, look forward to reading how everyine is getting on.

Good luck with WI's those who have them today.

Bling babe i know what you mean about being tempted by clubs and bars. London is very seductive in that respect. Sounds like you have a nice weekend lined up with a nice balance of socialising and rest.

I am working two 12 hour shifts this weekend Boo Hoo, but it's what pays the bills.

Take care all!

Morning all

Thank goodness its friday I am off to see the girls i used to work with mmmm sparkling water and taxi duties for me but i don't mind. Then taxi duties for my kids all weekend ferrying to cinema and shopping then family party saturday eve so busy busy busy for me.

Blingbabe enjoy your giggle with co worker it always helps to have a laugh at work.

Emma fingers crossed for you Wi you nver know and don't work to hard

Butterfly Fingers crossed you nail that 10st mark this week

Claudine well done for getting passed day 3 those first 3 days are hard going.

Well i am being good again with my water it better show at my WI tomorrow x

Friday - 6 hours of classes to teach tonight but they are all nice on a Friday so no problems. I really feel like jumping on a flight back home for the weekend but just looked and they are all silly prices so I shall just have to wait until my planned trip back on 4th Dec.
The jumpers came out of the wardrobe today. Temp has gone down from 23 to 18 - lol I am a wimp with the cold. I can't cope with anything under 20 so I am sitting with a blanket curled up on the sofa. As for the weekend - going to go and help a friend who is moving house and maybe a wander at the coast on Sunday.
Have a happy weekend folks!

Hi guys

Not posted much this week been really busy but had a weight in on Wednesday and lost 4Ib so really happy oo and two inch off my tummy.

Had a virgin vie party last night and felt really good about myself and confident, which isnt me or hasnt been me for years, its a good feeling:) plus got some lovely goodies.

Hope you are well and have a good weekend

afternoon girls, hope everyones having a good day

good luck for your weigh in emma

well today i have a party at my little girls school, there will be lots and lots of yummy food there but i WILL resist. i shall take a tetra and destract myself looking at the hot drummers, it will be such a hardship, lmao

Well its not yet 2pm and its sounding as if its a lively enough Friday for the daily post-ers.
I am most impressed by emmapetty being engrossed in her work - wish I could claim the same. Today myself, R and my best mate F have booked our hotel for Geneva in December, the fourth friend not in office today.
Hope summayah enjoys musical and any other entertainment this afternoon.
Well done witchy on great weight loss, and glad to hear that you are getting better alexice with temp reducing.
Will not be joining you at getting up at 5am butterfly, I prefer a more civilised (lazy) 8.45 am. Have fun meeting the girls kerryberry, bet they will love new work on tattoo.
Claudine - you are so right about avoiding the temptations. I would do extra work but not allowed to by my employer, unless it is clearly removed from regulated health and social care. I would have liked to when I was saving to buy a home.
Anyway, so much for 'no shopping' - best friend and I heading to Oxford St after work, supposedly to buy a present for a secretary leaving but I also have a gift voucher to spend at House of Fraser - oh dear, where will this lead?
And I obviously got dressed in the dark this morning because I put on different black ankle boots - only realised once on the train!

Time away with friends I could do with that right now but needs must and I have been out of work for most of this year so have some catching up to do. I am off to Dublin in nov for my nephews christening so that will be nice.
Looking forward to meeting up with the girls and the not drinking thing doesn't bother at all anymore.
Hope your all doing well CD wise today xx

anyone know of cheap hotels near heathrow? my friends bugging me to book a night in one as hes coming over from grenada and wants to see me arrrrgh

LOL - made me laugh......... Hopefully they are not to dissimilar!! :D

I love Oxford Street. Are the xmas lights up yet? Maybe I'm a little ahead of myself. I hope you enjoy. Sounds like fun.

Will report back on Oxford Street. I wish that I was going to Dublin kerryberry, I love it in Ireland but haven't been for a few years. My mum's family is from Donegal. If I think about it for too long I will be wanting my favourite soda bread, with Irish salted butter. Sorry for the food talk.
Sorry no info on hotels near Heathrow as never needed to book one.
Its a bit strange, I am on minimins at work - I think one of the managers has noticed as our desks are all so close (not my manager)
Feeling guilty, even though I will be doing some catching up for a meeting with my own manager on Monday.
ta -ra for now!

well it was payday yesterday for me, and instead of buying wine and food, i bought coffee beans, a grinder and a cafetiere from whittards! going to be giving it a good run tonight - tried yesterday and my coffee looked more like black tea than black coffee - i'd accidentally added like 1/4 of the amount of coffee I should have! OOPS!
