Hi guys cud some one tell me wat they thought of making one of the chocolate shakes into a mousse???? Im trying to give myself more options but wud hate to try something and waste a shake.

I tink the chocolate shakes taste like a feast icecream so does the mousse taste nice does it taste like powder how much water is best to use????

I like the mouse lately ive been..
boiling kettle, 2 sweetners little bit of hot water so sweetners melt
add 100ml of cold water, add powder mix carry on adding little bit of water till u find what you like

i do the same for vanilla in the morning but just use boiling hot water its a bit like sweet porridge :)

oh you can do it warm i didnt tink of dat. Thanks for the tip hun!

hey Anne-marie,
i just made the choc mousse for the first time so i could tell ya what i thought of it.

I LOVED IT!!!

i'm really surprised actually.
i was really thirsty after eating it though but you are meaant to have extra water if you make mousse.
i found it very chocolately but a little salty.

ill defo be having this once a day from now on x

salty? really i hate salt haha! tink ill try it on sunday as kinda a desert tingy while everyone is having apple pie haha!

dont really tink ill need sweetners i tink the chocolate shake is already REALLY sweet!

Oh gosh, don't do it!!! Ewww! I think I'm weird cos I cannot stomach anything other than the chocolate shakes with cold water. Also, if you make it solid(ish) it's harder to get down in the fifteen minutes if you don't like it!

Did you try it?

Hannah

HaHa! no i havnt tried it yet ! thanks for your honest opinion i tink i mite leave it for a little while dont want to waste a shake!

honestly the mousse is fine.
i've had 2 today.my new fav thing.
not tasting salty anymore to me either.
remind me a bit of the inside of a ferrero rocher(or am i dreaming lol)x

No i can see why you wud think that actually taking the taste of the shakes into account! I must try them i will regret it if i dont haha!

Last time round I only ever had shakes with ice or coffee.
This week, thought I'd give some of these ideas a go.

Made the mouse yesterday (no sweetners) and really quite liked it.
I just kept adding ice cold water until it was a nice consistency, stuck it in the freezer for a couple of mins to firm it up and then ate it - it goes a bit thicker when it's colder.

This morning, I've tried half a peanut flapjack and half a vanilla powder, with hot water, to make the 'porridge' - again, really liked it.

Just mixes it up a bit.

Oh and my hubby bought some mint tea last night - so I had a mint-choc drink last night. Very comforting - nice for the cold evenings.

Thanks everyone for the tips!!

If only there was something to do with the chicken soup - heave just thinking about it!! x

and a pinch of thyme and pepper to the soup :) My chemist said its ok to do not as if I go over board adding allsorts and I've had good weight loses doing so

Yeah ive heard chilli flakes make it nicer as well still ain't gonna convince me to try it again thou! haha!
