out of date food packs

Going for Goal!
I have just been sorting through my shakes to take with me to work tomorrow, and all my shakes are out of date.

The majority of them are 15.04.09 (Best before date) Are they still ok to have?

Hugs x x x

I wouldnt risk it and I would certainly send/take them back!

True. I just feel so awkward saying something to my cdc. She has been with me all the way through cd and is a really lovely lady. I am there on friday though for my weigh in, so i'll just keep at it with the shakes I have until then, and take the remaining ones on friday. But I shall be checking the best before date before leaving next time.

It's happened before though - I'm sure a tetra she sold to me was out of date because it exploded in the fridge and stank my house out for days - I have never been able to have banana tetras since!!

Take them back!!!! I would!!

Your CDC has a responsibility to sell you the correct stock

She needs to know for herself she's getting duff gear

emma dont use them, call her and tell her that they are out of date and get them swapped

Are they all the same flavour?

Are you sure you are reading the best before date, not the date of manufacture? I know that sounds daft, but somehow the date of manufacture always seems to stand out more and I often mistake the two on a quick read.

It's really weird that these are so out of date as they have a long shelf life, so it would have been in her cupboards for an awful long time for her to keep 'missing' if you know what I mean, and then keep missing them for another 6 months. Very strange.

Not disbelieving you or anything, but that's why I wonder whether it's the date of manufacture.

It's easier to get it wrong with tetras as they go out of date much quicker. Oh and you do sometimes get the odd duff tetra even within date, but it's pretty rare.

So, anyway, if they are out of date, then yes, contact your CDC to get them exchanged. I'm sure she'll be gutted but definitely needs to know!
