Hi Megan, the great thing about this diet is that the off plan weight will drop off so quickly unlike on other diets.
I think a planned off day or weekend does us the world of good, saves us getting so desperate that we suddenly snap and go binge tastic. It also shows us that we can eat treats and then be back in control, which is what all my slim friends do,so its sort of a training exercise for when we get to maintenance.
7 years ago I lost loads of weight by over exercising and hardly eating anything- the result was a really unhealthy relationship with food until I met Mr Taurus. If I ate 'naughty' food I couldn't stop until I felt ill, then I would starve myself until the weight had gone.
However I had a planned day off on my anniversary and didn't feel any guilt, and got the weight off within a couple of days. Also I am having a planned day off in November and to be honest that is keeping me sane, knowing that I'm going to be able to have a special day and be like everyone else.
So don't feel poo, as I said regard it as a training exercise!
