Don't Try Tasters In Sainsbury's!

Scarlet Daisy

Hungry For Life
Have you seen their recent shocking ad? It shows women letting people try "fruity" yoghurt and some juice drink, or something.

Anyway the emphasis is on the good-looking man trying yoghurt. But watch the DODDERY OLD MAN as he tries a drink that an employee offers him... She has a tray of identical little plastic cups, he takes one, sips it and then RETURNS IT TO THE MIDDLE OF THE TRAY!!! It is lost amongst the other drinks and ANYONE could sip it next!!! Ewwww! :spit:She says NOTHING!!!!

I'm not trying anything in that shop! :(

Ewwww!!!! I try to avoid tasters anyway.

I hadn't noticed that, bet Sainsbury's haven't caught on yet either or they would have stopped the ad going out - it will be interesting to see if they do pull it, LOL......

I noticed it too and went "bleughrrrr!!!"

omg how rude! actually we love it here - we're just moving to clear the mortgage mainly!!!

although i suppose it depends whether you were brought up in a nice area or a cr*ppy one (which you get in all places) as to whether you like the place or not.

Awww, sorry Beki! I was joking, the Island is OK. I was brought up in Minster (I was posh). I just found it too quiet there for my tastes... I don't know how it happened but I seem to have been born a city girl, despite being in the country.

The Island is lovely for people who like to ride horses (like yourself), people who like gardening, people who like the sea-side and sailing (the windsurfing is excellent there too). I shouldn't have been mean.

I tease my relatives though... They talk about "off the Island" as if they are afraid there might be dragons on the mainland...;)

sorry for biting your head off  it's just that so many people have a prejudice against the island, it really doesn't help when you're trying to sell your house! lol

i agree it's really quiet in the 'posh' places :rotflmao: but that's what we love about it... we could be considered extremely boring i suppose

i was born in the city but am definitely a country girl at heart!

thanks for the apology - hopefully you'll accept mine too  xx

Of course! It was my fault, I can be horribly evil without thinking.

My Mum is trying to sell her lovely bungalow (in Minster) at the moment and she finds the whole thing very stressful. Your place looks amazing BTW, somebody is going to grab it up and feel very lucky. :hug99:

Awww thank you  Fingers crossed your mum sells quickly! :)

I don't think we'll have much luck of selling now the winter's headed this way, as once we've had a few weeks of rain the field turns into a boggy mud pit - not really conducive to a good viewing experience LOL :rotflmao:

To be honest, I wouldn't even know where 'The Island' is

Only the Chosen Few know of The Island, hidden, as it is, amongst pink clouds and rainbows, in the Thames Estuary.

Unicorns run free there, brooks filled with lemonade babble over rocks made of gold.

Beki and I are obviously passionate about the place. Sadly, we cannot take you there, for you caused a rift in the magic with your careless post.

:sigh:

omg hahaha.. i'm LOL here :rotflmao:
