Hair loss - what's the story?

This week we had a chat about the hair loss situation in our session, and it really scared me. Not enough to stop I hasten to add, but I am a little confused around what could happen and when.

My LLC said that it is more likely to happen in management - is this the case?

I feel so ridiculous being so vain about my hair, but I can't bear the thought of it thinning/dropping out after all of this hard work to look better!

Anyone have any ideas, or could share some info? I've started to take some hair vitamins from H&B with a vengeance this week.

hey girl... try not to worry too much bout this... it does happen but not to everyone in fact most people dont have it.... and if it does happen it grows back even healthier...

do you have thin hair as it is???

Love

I have to say since I started Management - I have had a lot of hair loss. Everyone in my group has suffered with it to some extent. I have started taking Superior hair vitamins and it does seem to have slowed down a bit. Fortunately I had pretty thick hair to start with. All I can say is its much nicer wearing size 12 clothes with slightly thinner hair than being a size 18/20 with a full mane!

Tiger: try Pantogar. They are very good for hair loss esp. if your hair is thin. Boots don't stock them but you can buy them online. You need to take them for at least 3 months.

Hope this helps.

Hey Tiger Girl,

It happened to me when I went onto management from CD. I didn't notice too much of my hair falling out at first, but after a couple of weeks it got really bad and because I have very very fine hair (my scalp is very visible especially in the sunshine:( ), it looked ten times worse than on someone who has a full head of hair.

Thankfully it started growing back and is now more or less back to what it was before, not thicker, but I didn't want a miracle just my hair back! lol

If you've a good head of hair I shouldn't worry too much as it probably won't be noticeable if you start to lose any:D

I echo what Cake said. I've had some hair loss but frankly it is just a short-term problem and nothing compared to reducing from size 24 to a 12! Bring it on!

Thanks for all of the responses! I've got really thick hair, I guess the vanity bit comes from the fact that it's always been my crowning glory! Even though I'm only coming to the end of week 6 I've noticed that my hair has felt different almost from the end of week 1. It's been much softer but still looks pretty great :) Not as great as I will look in a few months time though!! :D
Jenna - I'll have a look at the Pantogar. Thanks for the advice :D
