Well i went to the Drs and.......

she didn't sign my form. She didn't say she wouldn't she just wanted to speak to someone at the CD office. Unfortunately as i went so early the office was closed! Grrrr. Anyway she said leave it with her and she will speak to someone and to ring the surgery tomorrow so i can pick it up.

It seems like such a palaver just to get a form signed. Hopefully all will be sorted tomorrow.

Also does anyone know why if i have a BMI over 40 i have to get the form signed as i couldn't give her an answer.

I know it's frustrating because when people want to start...they want to start...like NOW!

But, hats off to your doctors. At least they are being open minded and prepared to take time to make sure the diet is safe and okay for you to do. I admire that in a doctor

One of my clients had to get a sig and it took a while. Evidently, the doctor decided to do his own investigations and came back, signed the form and told her that he might start it himself :clap:

It's really just to check there's no underlying health issues caused through being at that level of weight. Things that you might not be aware of, and that might mean you can't do the diet.

Don't stress though. In my experience to date, there rarely is. Just need to be on the safe side

Just checked my answer machine and they have some paperwork at the drs for me to collect so hopefully they will have signed it for me! Fingers crossed
