Question about losing weight

Ok, so this might sound incredibly naive of me but i'll ask anyway.

Will it be harder for me to lose weight as I go along?

Its hard for me to explain in words and maybe i'm not making sense but as my body adjusts to the diet changes I make and the excersise i've been doing then will i stop losing weight? Will i have to push myself harder after the first few weeks to continuously lose about 2 pounds a week because my body will have become accustomed to my regime?

I hope this doesn't sound like gibberish

Hi B

Dont have an answer really but didnt want to read and run. I think it is difficult to answer your question as we are all different.

speaking from my own vast experience of losing weight (unfortunately never been able to keep it off!) I did have to gradually re adjust the amount I was eating as I lost weight. Simply put lighter people generally need less cals to live life than heavier people so the smaller I got the less I had to eat to keep losing- it was either that or exercise more.

Hope this makes sense am jabbering away, but as I said everyone is different.

okay ...

as you get smaller your body will need less calories then when you started and more exercise to burn the same amount of calories your doing but...

As your going along its normal for your body to adjust and to think hang onn i need to hold some of this fat ect .. so you need to trick the body... lower your calories intake by 50-100 a day (still make sure your eating enough though of course)... and do an extra say ten minutes of exercise a day , maybe a extra walk??...

you dont need to push the exercise harder to a extent .. you could try doing new and different exercisses.. or if you have a routine .. do it backwards .. or mix it up.. this is shock your body if its become adjusted to your current programme..

you should find this will.. help you keep a slow and steady loss.. remember as you get smaller though your body will naturally find it harder to shed fat.. so dont worry just keep it up..

hope this helps. xx

Hi,
Like everyone else has said, I have found in the past that the biggest weight loss tends to happen at the start of a diet because your body does seem to adjust to less calalories. One way of boosting weight loss again could be to either up your excersise or to change the type of clalories you are eating, less carbs for example. I have also heard that some people boost their weight loss by adjusting their calorie intake over the week. For example - very low calorie one day and then more the next so that your metabolism does not get used to a certain amount. I don't know if this works though.
