Soups

Hiya everyone,

So far I've tried the Mushroom soup, and although it was a bit too watery for my liking, it wasn't too bad. I also felt it wasn't as satisfying as a shake or porridge.

I have a packet of chicken and mushroom soup but haven't tried it. I keep thinking that I might as well have a shake/porridge or even bar instead as I will regret having wasted a meal on watery soup.

What are your experiences with soup? Which would you recommend?

I ask because I am a little bored of the sweetness now. I think I am desirous of a savoury option but don't want to feel as if I've wasted a meal.

Thanks :)

The Leek & Potato is the best. Very tasty !
I agree the mushroom is a little tasteless.
I alternate between the Leek and mushroom, spicy tomato and oriental chilli.

I think the potato and leek is very nice. I add a little black pepper, which I hope/think is allowed.
Also like the tomato flavour, I forgot a couple of times to make it up as directed and it was a bit of a disaster so be sure to carefully follow very basic instructions. And vegetable flavour is tasty.
Ok, seems like I'm a soup fan!

I only like the mushroom chicken and mushroom and the leek and potato. I can't stand the others, i make sure i have one soup a day as though it is like my sit down hot meal meaning i use a bowl and spoon i think you can forget what its like to use cutlery if you just have the shakes!

thanks guys. as it happens i got another chicken and mushroom, a leek and potato and oriental chilli today. these seem to be the flavours that you all prefer. i'm gonna try the chicken and mushroom for dinner and see how i go with the others. i think as it's getting colder as well, it will be nice to start having a soup ( even though i have never been a fan of soup...weird)

thanks again you lot.
:)
