As some of you know, my Mum and Dad promised to match me £1 for every 1lb I lost. Up to date I have lost 84lb.

I'd always said that I would use the money to buy myself a 'proper' winter coat as this was something I've never bought myself - they're never really that flattering in a size 24!

Anyway when I was shopping with my hubby last week I saw the most gorgeous Matthew Williamson bright pink winter coat in Debenhams.

I told my parents about it and because they said they are so proud of me for what I have done they have bought it for me! They said they're sure I'm going to reach my target so they may as well cough up now!

I have never owned such an expensive item of clothing - £125 OMG! But the best thing is IT'S A SIZE 16!!!! It fits like a dream - even zipped up!

Can't wait for a nice cold winter spell now so I can show it off!

Wooh! That's fantastic, you must be so pleased! I know what you mean about now wanting to buy a big winter coat in size 24, I was always a jacket girl, am so getting a coat this winter!

I LOVE that coat it must be an amazing feeling wearing a size 16 (they are quite small sizes aswell! these designers) cant wait till im there x
