Hey folks,

Well, i popped into Home Bargains today for some cleaning products and walked away with a shed loads of syn free goodies on green!

They are selling a massive variety of Batchelors savory rice, pasta n sauce and some noodles to go. They also have loads of Crosse and Blackwell rice and pasta and after checking my free food guide they are all included in there - yay! I also picked up some canderel, some blue dragon stir fry sauces and some mini choc bars all under 6 syns each.

Everything was much cheaper than the supermarket as well so if you have one in your area - get in and get some SW friendly bargains!

I heart homebargains...and B&M, Quality Save etc. It's randomly fab. You never know what you're going to end up with but there's usually something.

LOL Roz! I'm sure there are equivalent places in London... Poundland, Poundstretcher, I seem to remember I whole world of bargain tat-shops when I was living in London!

Surely you do...unless the cheapy cheap shops are reserved for us Northerners...

A Poundland opened here 2 weeks ago, had a peep sunday & the only thing I can get for SW really is WW crisps but other than that no bargain shops! :(

My nearest B&M is an hour away, I might have to go there for the day if I can stock up on bargain food for SW!

I loooooooooove Home & Bargain - or Home Bargains as it's now known. I have a story about why it's changed name - but can't publish here, may be libellous, HA!

The things you learn when you're 16 and getting paid 2.01 per hour to stack bog roll on Christmas Eve though is all i'll say.

Oh, and they had brill staff Christmas parties. They hired out the whole of Granada Studios for us one year. We were all made up thinking we might meet Steve McDonald (he was hunky back then) or Des Barnes but alas no. Gail Platt. In scary leather trousers. Humph.
