Well Im here I have my pack and tomorrow is start day Ive weighed in at 18st 9lbs SCARY and I have one week till the dress maker comes to give me a quote on my wedding dress alterations. Then I have a few weeks hopefully to try and loose this stone and a half. Never thought Id be happy just to be 17stone but I really just want to be 17stone. Im still thinking about whether to try total before moving on to working but Im a student nurse so I need lots of energy. No uni till monday so hoping to be on it some how by then. Any Advice ??

Hey! Welcome to the Exante forums! I've been doing it for 6 days now and I have lost about 7.5lb. The first few days are tough and day 2/3 I was feeling very sleepy. Will you be working over the weekend? If not it could be a great oppertunity to get into ketosis and come Monday you will have a lot more energy and won't be feeling as hungry.

Not sure how it will fit in with your work routine, and nurses work shifts right? Just make sure you get all of your meals each day. I'm sure being on your feet a lot of the time will burn cals and speed weight loss, but I would see how you get on.

Let us know how you go. What diet were you following previously?

Hiya
Well before this I think Ive followed most diets ... WW, SW, Aitkins, Celeb slim, slim fast and Lipotrim. Since summer Ive been on the eat what you like diet and try to have low fat meals diet hence the weight gain over the last so many weeks.

Im not working over weekend except for Im mum to 3 kids. So far today been running around all day started 1/2 a bar b4 I took kids to school which then sat on top of the fireplace waiting for me to come home. Unfortunately I didnt come home till about 5pm so Ive just had a tomato soup packet and the other half of my bar. Looks like I may be seeing how long I can last on total until I move on to working when I get desperate for food. Ive got my friends hen meal in 2 weeks so think I might try to do total until a few days before and then more into working so I can eat at her meal. My Placement starts the Monday after that so I think i'll need food

Hi mh2b :)
I work shifts and it works ok for me, just remember to drink plenty of water throughout your shift, i also have a few sweet black coffees to keep me going :)

Thanks Blue Moon
I am just about to start my first batch of nursing shifts as I am a first year student so I guess thats part of the unknown too

Hi Mrs Hill2Be, how are you and welcome;) Please dont worry about not having the energy, I am a chef and more often than not I work more than 12 hours a day with a 2hr drive over and above and was on TS for over 4 months and had no problems at all with the energy levels at all. You will do so well and when you see the fantastic weight loss you will be inspired to keep going on TS, as soon as you are in full ketosis you will not even feel a hunger pang. For me working with food 24/7 I think I had to "get over it" or otherwise I would never have been able to cope. I have gone from a size 18/20 weighing in at 16st to a size 8/10 and weighing in at 10 stone. All the best Emily xxx

Thanks very much Emily Ive had a rubbish weekend already so not happy with myself but on with tomorrow
