Hi all,

I am currently thinking of rejoining SW - I recently followed WW but it wasn't for me, I actually managed to put weight on one week! The problem is, I usually get bored after about 4-5 weeks. Has anyone got any tips so I don't give up so easily?

Just losing weight every week keeps me focused on my dieting.

Maybe you eat the same foods all the time (I did when I was a WW'er) - with the SW plan you are encouraged to swop your foods around as much as possible, and there are so many lovely recipes to keep your taste buds going - take a look in the recipe section above.

And most of all - this forum will keep you motivated, everyone is so good on here and ready to help and keep you motivated all the time.

So welcome to SW and to this brilliant forum, and good luck with your weight loss.

Hi Paisley, I too have done WW in the past - and similarly to you I start it all guns blazing then kinda just fizzle out :(

The bigger problem for me is that when I do fizzle out I tend to put on more weight than I lost on the diet, Grrrrr.

I think SW is different for me for two reasons:
1) I actually go to the meetings, and stay til the end; make the most of everything on offer!
2) On WW I felt I was very limited to foods I could have, and also got fed up weighing and counting everything

On SW I have found that I am eating what feels like more than ever, and I am yet to find something I can't eat either!

There is a third difference which I just realised!! On my previous weight loss attempts I didn't have Minimins :)

Here's to as much slimming as you can handle with no fizzle!!

Planning and variety is the key to any successful weight loss diet.

Have you done the new EE plan on SW? If not, then you will find a whole new SW world since the last time, there's no way you'd get bored with it! That's assuming it is the food you get bored with?!
