I am about a size 16-18 now and would like to be a comfortable size 14 when we go on holiday.. Do you think this is do-able!?!?

I am looking for support and to motivate others! :)

Also, can anyone recommend any fitness DVDs or what fitness they have done??

I really hope to hear from you!! x :D

Hiya, welcome to the RC forum.

For maximum weightloss or more to the point inches loss (cos afterall its not what we weigh it's what dress size we are at the end of the day), my suggestion is to follow the diet religiously, weigh your food, use your portion pots and count your calories. The first 2 weeks are lower calories but if your well motivated you will not find it too bad and hopefully the weight will fly off in those weeks. If you feel hungry though, try drinking a bottle of water, as most of the time when we think we're hungry, we're just thirsty.

The RC dvds are good and I've heard the Davina ones are also very good. You could also join the premier club and go to extra classes too.

In 3 months I think I lost about 3-4 stones, going from a size 22 to a size 14 so you can definitely get into a 14 by then, especially if you exercise plenty as you will tone up too.

I'm sure others will be along sooner or later with further help.

Good luck with your weightloss

Good luck! The more you can fit exercise in the better (I just walk the dog), as you will soon start to feel good and then you will want to keep going.

As for DVDs, I find it preferable to go to a class, as it's more fun, so can't really recommend any I'm afraid.

I'm sure you could be a size 14 by the time you go away if you put you're mind to it. Keep picturing they way you want to look and feel, and remind yourself that every little step you take is working towards it.

I see we've both got the same total amount of weight to lose. Despite it saying my start date was 15th Aug, It was more like 3 weeks ago that I got started properly. I've done RC in the past and found the mixture of diet, exercise and socialising very successful - hope you enjoy it.

Hello im looking at a new diet at the moment interested in R.C now my next class is thursday evening just been reading this thread to know more about the diet.!

I think i could c.c as ive never done it before.! silly question but is it easy to follow?? I need something new now ive reached goal this week it was my birthday yesterday, so back on a healthy eating plan of some sort tomorrow just dnt know what to follow for the best.!!

hiya Shanny,

sorry I have not replied sooner but have been away fpr the weekend.

Calorie counting is easy - my sister has recently converted to RC from WW and she said only today that cc is no different to counting your points on ww. I can't comment on WW as although I have done it years ago, i'm sure its different now, but my sister has found it so much easier losing weight the RC way (she's currently lost 26lbs :) )

I have always found the diet easy to follow, my sis said she used to think about the ww way to start with but when she stopped that, the weight started tumbling off her.

HTH a little

Hello!!.. Well, I was ill on first weigh in so did not happen, HOWEVER.. Just got back from week 2 but actually week 1 if that makes sense!??! And.........
I'VE LOST 5 1/2lbs WOOOHOOOOO!!! Sooooo Happy!!)

Well.. Just come back from WI and put on 1.5lb :sigh:

I thought I had put on about 6lbs as was sooooo bad and nearly came off the diet so not too bad..

Going to re-start my fat attack 2 weeks again tomorrow!!

If I loose 3lb or more next week I'll be into the 14stone's so thats my goal! :)

Just thought I would keep you updated!! x

why did you think you would have gained 6lb???

Keep going ahnd stick to the diet and you'll be ok. Use your portion pots, weigh your food, count your calories and check the fat content and you can't go far wrong

Good luck
