I was a January starter too. Late January but still January! Anyway, I go on a diet every january ( and don't usually last till Feb) but its a reactive thing to having put on weight over xmas.
This time was different. I had decided I was going to do CD late on last year but decided that it wasn't a good time to start as we were abroad over xmas and new Year. So It was planned that I start in January. I worried that after my hols I'd lose enthusiasm for starting CD but as it turned out I felt so rotten being so overweight on holiday that it spurred me on even more plus it wasn't just about looking good in a swimsuit. I felt my health was suffering because of my weight so that was my motivation rather than just for a holiday.
But Hurray! It's March and we're still at ti! Just think - wonder what next January will be like...I don't mind having to lose a few lbs after xmas - better than 10 stone!!
