I have run out of ideas for lunch. Don't want to use my HEB because I am using one later for dinner.

Any suggestions?

a big omlette, with ham and free veg and possibly cottage cheese.

cold chicken drumsticks/cooked meats with salad

roasted vegetables with meat or fish

I struggle for lunch ideas on red days especially things to take to work! Think you have to be more prepared on red days?, on green days I just grab Pasta n Sauce and fruit.

Landed up having a chicken and vegetable stir fry. It felt as though i was having dinner and I was overindulging. I normally have a light lunch. Just done 10mins on the treadmill to compensate.

crab sticks, prawns, quorn cocktail sausages, chicken slices, boiled eggs tins of tuna or salmon or pilchards etc. Bags of salad with beansprouts to puff it out more. I always have some tins at work in case I forget my lunch. crackerbread are only one syn each and go with most things. you could keep a box at work. The previous nights left overs xxx

I only do green days and often make a huge frittata with all free veg on green in it and add some left over pasta of potatoes if I have them

you could do the same with veg that is free on red with ham dont forget the fresh herbs if you have them

I have that with a large salad and find it very filling easy to take to work too as it is finger food

Hi wishfairies,
I know what you mean about a big meal at lunch time, I also prefer a light lunch. Having just started back on slimming world I'm doing red days as I feel the weight loss is a little faster and have been having things such as......

chicken tikka kebabs
cubed chicken, tikka spice blend, ff plain yogurt, lemon juice, garam masala. Marinate for at least 1 hour then thread onto wooden kebab skewers alternating courgette, peppers, onion, cherry toms and chicken, grill until cooked and eat hot or cold. Delicious!!

Ham slices and pinapple threaded on skewers

Veggie soup

homemade chicken curry with salad

chicken, onion and pepper chunks cooked in schwart spices (I like spicy bbq)

lamb koftas (out of an older sw mag) salad and minty yogurt dip

Hope this gives you a few new ideas :D
