im just wondering what ye all do on the days that you fall off the wagon by a large amount (e.g. 12-20 points over) the past two days have been horrendous and while ive done loads of exercise iand i know by weigh in if im good itll balance out. should i cut down on points? any advice?

Hiya i would draw a line and forget about it...start again tomoz..
if youve earned a few AP's it will probably balance it out like you say..
good luck :)

Sorry you're having such a hard time right now, but at least you're being proactive and coming on here to ask about it. :)

On any days that I've gone over my points, I try to cut down the next day... But never less than 16 points because, according to my leader, it's dangerous. I usually cut down by 4 points 1 day and 5 the next. That's my personal snack allowance and I don't miss it awfully if I don't have them. Don't cut down more than that and don't go longer either. Just remember that you can start again on your next weigh in and get some really good advice from other members at your meetings.

Just recently, if I'm having a bad day, I drink a glass of water before I eat and then fill up on 0 point soup. I know it doesn't sound great, but it really works. Coming on here also keeps me going when I think I'm falling of the wagon.
I hope some of this helped. Cheer up, we're all human, so don't give yourself too hard a time. :)

thanks guys. youve all cheered me up and given me that kick i need. its 7 weeks tomorrow to my graduation and im determined to lose over a stone. well i did have two bad days, but tonight i did an extra half hour on the bike and ive done loads of exercise since yesterday. and i will cut down on my snacks and will defo think of the no point soup tomorrow. thats great advice. thank you so much.
