Hi Jacqui

I made one last night and used:

Red lentils
Tin chopped tomatoes
Onion
Mushrooms
Mushy peas
Variety of spices

I thought it was very nice and have saved some for tonight. I have made mushy pea and baked bean chilli before and although it sounds yuk, I like it!

Good luck.

Ohh thanks but i dont have any lentils does that make a difference and what sort of spices did you use, thanks again for getting back i just fancy some with some sw chips tonight

I followed the receipe from here
1 can of mushy peas
1 can chopped tomatoes
curry powder to taste
1 onion

Mix it all together over a low heat, blend to a smooth sauce. Easy!!

You can then have the option of either adding it to chicken (either HeB on Green or free on EE) and serve with rice.

I have added all sorts of left over veggies - cauli, brocolli, carrots, sweetcorn, even potatoes. Or, do you have an chick peas? As for spices, to be honest I don't use the same ones twice, my curries never taste exactly the same! Curry powder, tumeric, garlic, chilli powder, cumin make a nice curry if you have them in - I would add small amounts and keep tasting. Sorry I don't think I have been very helpful!
