What is AAM?

Seen it in a few older threads.

Also, I don't think I have lost weight since my weigh in on Saturday. In fact it seems like I may have gained a pound. TOTM since Sunday but still.

I have been following all the rules.

What gives?

What are my chances?

I do retain alot of water but I am not happy.:cry:

AAM = Add a Meal

if your next weigh in is not until saturday you have plenty of time to loose! But even if you STS you know it is only water retension so it will come off the following week! Best of look and stay focussed, you know it works :)

AAM is Add a meal week which is old school CD. CD used to require you to add a meal every 5th week where as now it's every 13th week.
Some people do gain at TOTM hun I know for a fact that I can gain around 4lbs at TOTM so I really wouldn't worry about it to much, think about how good next week will be!;)

they're right, 'doingitwell'.. You are doing all the right things by CD so the long term benefits ARE happening - whether the stupid scales are showing it or not.. I don't bother looking at them during TOTM cause they're not an acurate portrayal of how things are going.. If you're sticking with CD, then you are going to be loosing the fat from your body, whether your body weighs the same or not.. and as you can see from everyone on this site who has been CD-ing.. it does work.. only look at the weight losses over the long term, but only look at what you are putting in your body over the next day/hour/minute.. one day at a time...

For me.. having started this in..? April, I think (haha can't remember).. I'm only looking at today Wednesday 16th September 2009. Right now, it's the only day that matters on this weight loss journey... and I can trust that whatever I do/don't do today will effect how good I'm feeling next week.. it really is worth it! :D

All the best x

I stayed the same last week despite being really good and sticking with it, but my fat had dropped by 2% so it was obviously water retention. The scales have started moving again this week, I haven't weighed in at my CDCs yet (that's Thursday evening) but unofficially on my scales I've lost about 4.5lbs since last Thursday and I'm hoping I might lose another before Thursday :) Don't give up yet, there's plenty of time before Saturday.

Thank you all for your really helpful and encouraging replies.

Very good comments by all. I am going to resist the urge to weigh myself EVERY MINUTE and just take it a day at a time. I think I am just anxious. I know the weight just drops off but I think I somehow have to see it properly to believe it- even though I've seen it happen for others.

Oh well, patience!

Thank you allxxxxxxxxxxxxx
