Hi, have been on cambridge now for six weeks and am getting really despondant without food, think i would like to change to one of the other plans as i dont have that long left before i reach my goal weight (and am planning to go back to uni in a couple of weeks and def dont wanna be doing SS there) but I dont really understand them properly and how they work:sigh:, does anyone either know a good website or would they be able to explain to me how they work.
Thanks
Ash x

the best way to do it i would imagine is a week on each plan between now and your return to uni.
So go onto SS+, then 810, then 1000, then 1200 and finally onto 1500.
usually its 2 weeks per plan on the 1000 and above plans but its really up to you.
You yellow book will have more specific into about what you can eat on each plan and speak to your CDC for more advice.
the cambridge diet website is always good for info hun!

xx

I didn't know it was 2 weeks either. Just worked out if I stay on SS for 12 weeks and move up the plans properly, I'll be on the maintenance stage by 23/12/09 - just in time for Christmas, phew!

Thanks, i dont think i have a yellow book lol i only seem to have one for sole source however a friend of mine is doing it so might borrow theirs until i can speak to my CDC and get my own :D , sorry to have a 101 questions but do people still lose weight on the other plans?
Thanks x

i think people CAN and often DO lose weight on the higher maintenance steps...however, its usually recommended that you do 810 to get to goal and then start on the maintenance plans......but then again, it really is up to you....:D

thanks, i think i definately want to work up the steps as am determined not to put on the weight again, but am going to have a chat when i next see my CDC about going onto SS+ for two weeks, by which time *fingers crossed* i should be eight pounds above target so am hoping to lose that throughout maintenance :D x
