I was at the Grammar school open evening with Kieran this evening. He takes the 11+ entrance exam on 26th September. I'm more nervous than he is lol.
Anyway, before we went he did a mock exam and finished in the time allowed and scored 90% correct. Only trouble is we live out of the catchment area and last year 443 people sat the exam for 120 places
Out of the 443, 157 passed and 93 of them came from the catchment area - meaning 27 pupils out of catchment that passed did get in. Lets hope it's something similar this time around.
