I'd avoid them for now though. I use my fruit allowance for when I feel the need to pick; I help myself to a strawberry and that stops my nibbling at crap. Strawberries and raspberries are only something like 25 cals per 100g, they're the lowest in the book so you can have plenty. So I just concentrate on them...
Lol at the sugar! I used to love grapefruit with a ton of sugar on. I managed to wean myself off sugar years ago, I've had sweetner for ages now. And skimmed milk for years. And diet pop for a long long time. Dunno why I got so fat! (yes I do, far too many takeaways)
Oh takeaways, now that's much more intersting than strawberries and kiwis. But alas, that's also why I too got fat! So I've a future of kiwis and strawberries but it will be worth it to be thin!
I don't see the problem with the occasional takeaway, once I've been maintaining for a while. As long as I'm good afterward to make up for it, and I make the right choice when I get the takeaway (regular instead of large etc.)
Yes I lost a wee bit on SW and ate takeaways- boiled rice instead of fried and a chicken tikka kebab is good too. Oh I'd murder for one right now! McDs definitely bad for you though cos my son at 17 started working there and over hols he was full time and put on a lot, now only a few days a week and he's lost it again. He's really tall too and usually eats loads but clearly that's been fattening for him.
Yeah, I was pretty slim when I did manual work and I could pretty much eat what I wanted, but I switched to an office job about 13 years ago and piled the weight on because I didn't change my eating habits. I didn't notice at first, then I probably was in denial... And giving up fags during that time probably didn't help, I know what you mean...
now don't i wish i didn't open this topic... trying to get back on the straight and narrow after a holiday eating junk in san fran and all i am craving is fruit!!!
