Will exercise kick me into ketosis faster?

Hi everyone,

i'm on day 2 and i praying that i go into ketosis tomorrow, but i dont think i will as i had a massive carby takeaway the night before i restarted (i know, silly, should have known better)
would exercise help use up my carb stores and therefore kick me into ketosis any quicker?
any feedback would be appreciated :)

I don't know about getting into ketosis any quicker, but I find after exercise that I am less hungry and the next day I have more energy, so it can't do any harm, give it a whirl girl lol. Good luck!!

Hello,

Welcome to the life changing Cambridge Diet!!!

Ketosis will come on day 3 or 4. I had a massive binge before I started too - and on day 3 I felt rotton, and couldn't have exercised if someone had paid me!! ha ha. Day 4 I woke up and felt great........ I mowed the grass and was a different person!!

Don't worry - it will come, day 3 is always the worst - and then you will be fine!

end of day four and still not in ketosis, im getting proper annoyed now. weigh in tomorrow, hopefully i'll be in ketosis by then.

You know, I'm in week 2 and ketosis has completely alluded me, but I posted about it somewhere and let me see what I was told: oh, and by mini herself!!

Some people use their ketones more efficiently, and indeed make fewer of them, hence their lack of "spill" into the urine.

Once you are following the diet you will go into ketosis within three to four days.

One of the benefits of ketosis is that you should feel your hunger is greatly reduced.

Some get the ketosis high...a feeling of energy and well being and no hunger whatsoever.

Congratulations and well done on losing 14lb!!! :wow:

First week on the diet you lose mostly glycogen which is stored in the body with a lot of water and after that you are a fat burning machine on a vlcd.:)

Love Mini xxx
so there you have it, and yes I pee on those darn sticks, to no avail! even at 150%%
