Hello everyone,
I had to come off Cambridge diet a couple of months ago for medical reasons. A rising BP which as I lost weight went up instead of down. Anyway after tests etc we have now discovered I have an underactive thyroid as well as high BP but I have been cleared to go back on Cambridge. Has anyone else got underactive thyroid and how do you find it works with the diet. I'm hoping Mike & Jo will take a sinner back, a fatter sinner than the last time I saw them. Doesn't comfort food taste good at the time but not 5 minutes after you have demolished it.

Hi i also have an underactive thyroid and have done the cd for, well this is my 4th week now and i have been fine no probs at all

Hi Scribe,

Sorry to hear you have not been well. I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid 12 months ago and weighed four stones heavier than i am now. I have never felt so awful in my life. Thankfully 12 months on i feel fantastic.

With regards to the weight loss, just have a look at mine and you can judge for yourself hun x 8 weeks and i have almost lost 3 stone. You will be fine just as long as your thyroid is now under controll.

Good luck with your journey x
