pleasant suprise!

just went to asda to get some stuff for the bf as he is still poorly. Walked past the mirror and had to take a second look, I couldnt believe it was actually me. 7 weeks ago I would have thought sh*t im fat, but this time i stopped. Feelings like this make it all worth it.

I do the same thing, by catching a glimpse of myself in a mirror when I am out - and I think 'she is slim' then a second later I realise it is me!!! ha ha!!

I guess it takes a while for our mental picture to catch up with the real one.................. My brain still sees me as fat!

Go round the big department stores babe - there are mirrors everywhere - and you will keep seeing someone and say 'She is slim' and then a few seconds later you can say 'I am slim' as it will be you in the mirror!!!!

I remember another time when I had lost loads of weight being at a wedding and saying to my husband that a girl at the other end of the room looked like a good looking and thin version of me. He told me I was an idiot; it was me in a mirror! Great feeling! I want that back!
