Im determined this time, i have actually shocked myself. I start uni in 2 weeks - student nurse and it really hit home when one of our first seminars is health and nutrition. Dont want to be a hypocritical nurse who bangs on about weight and a healthy lifestyle when its obvious i dnt have one lol

Hi and good luck!
I am a nurse and overweight and i do know what you mean about sounding hypocritical when talking about nutrition. I am very honest with people and say that i struggle with my weight-people tend to take that well,and realise that they are not alone. Good luck with the nursing-it is a great profession and I love it.
