Losing weight and clothes!

I'm not sure I should be telling you this! Well tho I can now get into a size 16 and my wardrobe has doubled in size (my favourite skirt is too big and I can't alter it!) a girl sometimes just fancies something new! As I intend going down another size it doesn't make sense to splash out alot, so I'm casting an eye over the charity shops, BUT I've had the most amazing bargains on ebay! Monsoon, per una, wallis , some of them new, and I refuse to pay over a fiver with postage on anything! My latest were a pair of linen/cotton trousers from wallis,(washable!) worn once, and they fit perfectly, grand total? £3.19! Now I shall have to find out how to sell!

Judi, like you I love eBay. I think it is perfect for those of us losing weight quick as I refuse to spend a fortune on clothes that I will wear once or twice and then get rid as they no longer fit!!

I have never had a bad buy from there either and I have bought quite a lot!

The only thing I have sold on there was my sisters car and that was fine - so I would give it a go!! (I have been trying to persuade OH to sell some Wii games on it!)

I am glad that your eBay buying has been a success!

(p.s love the new photo!!)

Judi love your new piccie, you can see you are losing your weight from the other picture you had as an avatar, well done on getting into a size 16 too, excellent.

Well done on Ebay too, I use it quite a lot, I bought all my SW books off there and I didn't pay as much as some have either, I get some great cross stitch kits and clip earrings too, I get loads of lovely vintage earrings for peanuts, lovely jubbley....

My DH even bought our CamperVan off Ebay - yes a CamperVan!!!! and it is great, it's not brand new, but it's really roomy, homely and comfortable inside and just right for the two of us (and Chloe of course) and the price was really good too....an absolute bargain.

yeah ebay is great for bargains but I don't know how you saved money on SW books they overcharge riddicoulous amounts x2/3 times the genunine amount :s

Maybe I was just in the right place at the right time when I got my SW books on Ebay - they weren't cheap but not as expensive as I've seen some have paid for theirs...and it was almost 6 months ago now too.
