For everyone who has a tub of quark they don't know what to do with! Last night was a taster night and our consultant made a sweet dip for apple slices.( It was gorgeous on fresh fruit salad too), Quark, slenda powder and vanilla extract. It was lush! She sometime puts sweetner, orange zest and orange essence, and I suppose you could do the same with lemon or lime. Bon appetit!

It's brilliant for a grat Eaton mess!! If you can have a coupleof table spoons of creme fraice at just a few syns too, it's so indulgent!! Yum.

Quark's great for sweets and it's good for savoury dishes too - have you tried using it in pasta and/or in quiches with extra light laughing cow cheese triangles, cauliflower and plenty of seasoning? Hhmmmm........... there's lots of these types of recipes on SW website. Good luck'n'stuff! ;)

I mix a tub of Total yogurt 2% or 0% (2% is half a syn for a pot) and a teaspoon of lemon curd (syns vary with the brand - I prefer Tiptree) and mix very thoroughly with a spoon or fork. It goes very creamy and is lovely on fruit or anything you would normally put cream on.

Worth the few syns, in my opinion!

Oh Nat you are funny! Great new avatar! A girl with attitude :D

Thank you for this Judi, sounds lovely, I always have at least 2 tubs of quark in my fridge - I'd be lost without it now, it is so versatile.

Your tiling would look beautiful Squiddie, almost like thatching in fact...LOL.

It would be fabulous Donnie! Plus I bet the birds wouldn't come back!! You know who you are - the ones that start singing at 4am and won't p**s off until I can't get back to sleep!
