I'm on my way

I'm a obsessive scale hopper, started cd on wednesday, should I have seen a loss by now? I'm definately still the same (if not more??) than I was on weds. I'm supposed to be ss+ but been more like 810. Only cos I've probably had a bit too much than ss+ but only had allowed foods and I've made a point of drinking my water. Am I being impatiant or is it not working yet?

Any help appreciated!

it may all come at once but if you had a binge before starting cd it may slow your 1st loss then a fab 2nd, im also a scale hopper i am on day 104 and still get on every day at least once, dont worry it will come off xxx

Another daily scale hopper reporting in! Try to hold on to the official weight-in after the end of week one, as that will be accurate. I can remember descending into a silly state because I had appeared to have put on two pounds the day before I was being weighed at Lighterlife (which I did in the past)- only to find that I had lost weight on the regular LL scale.
Don't worry and keep up your good work, all the best for your proper weigh-in!

impatient hun! lol :D

Chill your beans....if you stick to SS+ 100% then you will lose weight no problem! Stay off the scales though!

Thanks for all your replies!

Boardwitless - I agree to a certain extent that scale hopping dictates your mood, mostly I use it as a reasurring tool that I'm on the right track! I bought new scales for bmi/body fat analysis today so had to get weighed even more than usual!!
Will try to wait til cdc weigh in on tues evening now tho.

Thanks All

i am in the same boat

hi, i also started ss+ on wednesday, i am exactly the same,
i have stuck to the diet 100% although when i have my meal, i have been having a little extra i think,
i dont fell any different at all, but my friend come round this morning and said i had lost weight and also my sister in law said the same thing yesterday.
My scales say different though:(

Scale hoppers listen up

I've seen a 3 pound, yes 3 pound gain a day before weigh in ( boy was i depressed) then weigh in day all lost with extra off

This was me at the very start of cd and since I've only weighed once max twice a week

It just ain't worth the heartache x

Oooh so glad I don't own a set of scales! Was gutted at 1st weigh in though when CDC scales weighed me 7lbs heavier than the gym scales!!!
Good job for me it's all about how I feel and fit in my clothes rather than what my actual weight is. (trained that way as years of being told 'you are heavier than you look'!)

Best not to scale hop as will def affect your mood for the day :)

Nat xx

1st weigh in completed

Lost 3lbs

Not earth shattering but as I had reduced by carbs before starting I'm not that surprised or disappointed!

Better off than on!

If I can keep this up I'll be well pleased

That's my mantra to (better off than on!) Well done on losing a very respectable amount in just 3 days - now you know that this diet really does work.

my weight loss never seems to reflect in my weekly WIs as much as it does at home, but i weigh myself every morning when i wake & i see my CDC at 5:30pm...should i weigh myself daily at that time to avoid the disappointment i had on tuesday??
