This is my first post on this forum, have tried all sorts of diets and even Xenical recently but have finally come to the earth shattering conclusion that I need to change my lifestyle:eek:

I am going to set myself small goals to achieve each week for food intake, exercise and positive thoughts, and build on these each week.

I am fed up of dieting - losing weight - then regaining, so no more. Hope to get to know you better over the coming weeks.:D

I've found this site really helpful, people are always ready to offer support or suggestions. I hope the lifestyle changing goes well, small steps sound a sensible approach.
 
Welcome Vanda and good luck on your journey. Yes small steps, taking it one day at a time is the best approach. We then learn to change our bad habits and have a healthier lifestyle, rather than just diet for a set amount of time then revert to our bad habits. Trying to do too much a once tho isn't a good idea as we won't be able to keep it up, so like you said small goals and building on it each week is definitely the best way.
