Hi,

My name is Michelle, I am 43 and am morbidly obese. I am married, and have 1 son who is 8 and has Cerebral Palsy, so I spend most of my time organising appointments for him.

I work part-time in the evenings, for a bank and I treat that as my time.


This is why I am here (again!!!)

I joined Slimming World in April 2007 and still have over 7 stone to lose, as every time I start making progress something happens and I slip off plan BIG TIME which is whyI have not been around for a while as I have had lots of personal issues to deal with, hopefully these are now sorted and I can concentrate on losing this extra 7 stone I carry.


The only reason I am still at group is that I am one of the leaders helpers and she makes sure I go, and to be honest the group is the only social life that I have, and if I had not kept going I hate to imagine what weight I would be now.

From today I am sticking to plan and would appreciate any support you can give me, I fully intend to succeed and prove to myself and others that I can do it and I will do it.

My consultant makes me turn up by picking me up every friday morning and taking me to group, she say's it coz she needs me a group but I think its to make sure I don't give up.

She has also suggested that once Ben goes back to school I should go to her Tuesday morning group and hop on the scales just to keep me motivated, as its usually monday or tuesday that I start to go off plan!!.

I think she views me as her little project (or should I say LARGE project.)
