Week 4 WI

Hi gals and guys,

I have been on the Lipotrim diet for 4 weeks now and to be honest it has been great and the difference is amazing. I have stuck to the diet and I am very pleased with the total loss so far.
In total I have lost 15lbs just over a stone.

I have been a bit upset as my loss compared to nearly everyone is much less. I would have been very happy with 4lbs but for the last 3 weeks it has been 2.4,2.4 and this morning a very low 1.8lbs. I have also realised that dieters who do not have alot of weight to lose seem to lose it slower. Any ideas?

I know that everyone is different and everyone loses in different ways or forms but this is suppose to be faster. I was ready for the odd week where I would lose a little but for it to get less and less by week really does damage motivation and is upsetting.

Dont get me wrong a stone is just wow I am well chuffed. If I could not see the difference and feel the difference I would have called it quits at week 3 but I am sticking to it because I have literally shrunk and even my leggins which are suppose to be a tight fit fall of my backside :)

I am determained to get to my goal and will not stop until I do. Because as some of you know, I need to bring my BMI to below 30 for fertility treatment. Doctors have advised me that some of the medication on the treatments make your blood thicker and with added weight it is dangerous for the heart. That is why they do not offer fertility treatment to people over that BMI.

Good Luck to all on your weight loss journeys.

(Sorry for the long long post)

hey jesi,

any loss is a good loss, and like you said you've not as much to lose so thats brilliant losing 15lbs in 4 weeks you wouldnt be able to do that on weight watchers or anything?

what fertility treatment is the doctor offering you? i went last week and had pcos confirmed (luckily thyroid ok and not diabetic) ive started a course of clomid to try to help me ovulate, fingers crossed it works

youve lost nearly 9% of your body weight, which is fab, so keep it up!! have you checked what your bmi is now?

Well the way it is going it might be another 2 months lol
I hope you come back with a great loss today

hey hun.well done x
i think you've done brilliant.as you said you have less to lose than most but over a stone in a month is brilliant!
dunno if you would have done that by healthy eating x
how long do you expect to be on LT before you reach a bmi under 30?
i hope you are able to have your treatment soon x

OMG OMG my BMI says 30.8 wow I just checked now when you mentioned it. I think at the end of this week I am going to go to my gp and ask for a referal.

As for the Clomid. I also have PCOS and It was the first thing they offered me and I was given 3 cycles. I was sooo exited as there is a high chance of twins and more lol. Butttttt my doctor at the hospital gave me wrong instructions to take them. Where I am suppose to take it 2 days after my period starts, She told me to take it 2 days after my period finishes. So I wasted 2 cycles until I found out. The last cycle which I took properly did not work and once they realised their mistake they fobbed me off to the fertility unit and they did scans and said we cannot do anything for you go and lose weight (LITERALLY!!!) I was soo gutted I cried all the way home. Then started this diet. I saw someone mention it on a web site and asked them, then started the very next day.

I hope the clomid works for you. The other issue I have is that I dont get periods so I have to take medication to start them then the clomid so it is a long journey. I am just waiting to see what they are gonna say when I go back and say "haaaa I lost it alllllllllll" hahahah

Thanks tuffy, the part about the healthy eating is the upset me talking lol I love this diet and what it helps to achieve. BMI is 30.8 now so not much to go yeyyyy

Good job girl - you are doing fab :)

Best of luck Jesi hunnie x

I know it`s disappointing and it`s hard not to compare yourself to others as I`ve not been having huge losses either.

I hope you manage to reach your goal soon so that you can start treatment.

I also have PCOS & an Underactive Thyroid and there is 10 years between my youngest two. I didn`t have fertility treatment though I did have Metformin for the symptoms of the PCOS and 6 weeks later I was pg ;)

You`ll get there in the end, Both of you...I`m proof of that

Xxxxxxxxxx

Wow the metformin :) hahahah what memories, I was on that for 2 weeks then my body could not handle it. It makes you fart for England but funny enough it is brilliant for PCOS.
PCOS is mainly your body producing to much insulin and that insulin just gets stored and stores everything else you you eat with it. Metformin controls the insulin which is fab but I dont know if I dare try it again hahaha.
I dont want to sound musshyyy but when you love your husband as much as I love mine you just want to have kids and you really wanna know if the children will look like him or smile like him. I just want my own family.
I hope everyone who wants a child is blessed with one or more :)
